Notice for Businesses:

There are three very good reasons why responding to a complaint is crucial to your business:

bulletIt provides you with an early warning that somebody is complaining about you and that a problem exists.
bulletIt's a great opportunity to continuously improve your business because your clients are telling you what you are doing wrong.
bulletIf you manage a customer complaint well, those customers will come back to you and even go out and advocate for you.

Notice for Consumers:

Research shows that only four percent of dissatisfied customers will complain, yet over 70 percent will never buy from that business again. Then there's the old saying that someone will tell one friend if they've had good service, but they'll tell 10 friends about bad service.
